Rehearsal Dinner

Most of you already know but for those that don't my brother got married on January 10th. It has been a very busy 2009 for my family. A wedding and a baby all in the same month. I thought some of you would like to see some of the pictures from the busy weekend.

My mother worked so hard planning this event. Everything turned out perfect. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was very romantic. Everyone had a blast! The slide show was the best part that Aaron and Mike put together. There wasn't a pair of dry eyes in the place.

New Years!

New Years 2009!!!!!

We have this tradition, 4 years running, where our original small group gets together every New Years. We normally go to Houston to visit but this year I was not able to travel since I was 36 weeks pregnant. Soooooo, our friends came here! Tommy & Jessica and Nathan & Heather came to McKinney to visit for a few days. As you can see from the picture of the boys we always have a good time when they are around.

New Puppy!

Aaron's dad got a puppy for Christmas! It was a suprise from Norma and Leah. He is so sweet it makes me want to get another dog but I guess I will have my hands full with a little one soon enough. :)

Christmas 2008!

Christmas came and went so fast this year. It must have had something to do with me being 9 months pregnant and my brother's wedding. All I could think about was that Aiden would be here soon, just hopefully not on Chad and Erin's wedding day. Here are a few random Christmas pictures of '08. Aaron and I got a video camera for Christmas so most of the time we were playing with that instead of taking pictures.

Seven of my closest friends gave Aiden and myself a wonderful shower on Saturday. I feel so blessed to have such a sensational group of Godly women that are around me. I can't help but think about the time when my parents told me that we were moving to McKinney and how much I hated the idea. I had no clue that God had an even better plan for me than I had for myself. These women were a big part of that plan. Thank you so much for making this such a special day for me. I love ya'll!

The girls gave me a beautiful plaque and a blessing ring that everyone was able to write a few special words on. These are two things that I will cherish forever.

The food was to die for! Everything was delicious! The cupcakes with Aiden's initials on them were not only adorable but mouthwatering as well. The girls did such a wonderful job setting everything up. Thanks for all of your hard work ladies!


I opened so many gifts, it felt like a hundred. My niece Bella was a big help. She handed me each gift that way I didn't have to bend over and if you have ever been pregnant you know that is a huge task by itself.) I had the best time after the shower going through everything all over again.
